Frequently Asked Questions

I'm new here...

  • Can I find out what the sermons are like?
Yes, we encourage you to visit our media section and watch or listen to several of the current messages. You can also take advantage of listening to a Sunday morning service live right from convenience of your home or office.
  • How do I get to the church?
We got your answer right here.
  • What about my children?
At Discovery Church we have something for all ages of children. Parents of children, ages birth through 3, can leave their children in one of our two nurseries. Children are securely checked in with our children's checkin computer system and given a pager to identify them with their child. For their protection, no children will be released to an adult that does not present the correct pager.

For children ages 3 through 12, we have a children's ministry program called Discovery Kids. In Discovery Kids, your child will be presented with dynamic and energetic messages. Discovery Kids worship in a state of the art facility incorporating multimedia, theatrical lighting, dramas and various other techniques to present the message to today's high tech children.
  • What are the weekend services like?
We work hard to make sure every weekend service is creative and relevant to your life. When you enter the building, a greeter will welcome you at the front door. Once inside, you will find the weekend worship services to be exciting and dynamic. Our goal is to communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ in the best way possible and to help people discovery their destiny in Christ.

At Discovery Church, you will experience worship through contemporary music provided by the praise band and vocal teams. We utilize drama and multi-media to enhance the practical messages presented each week.
  • What does your church believe?
     Our beliefs are listed here
  • What should I wear?
In our worship times, people are free to dress in the manner they feel most comfortable. We strive for simplicity and sincerity in our preparation to worship.
  • Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
If you're visiting, we won't ask you to give a dime when we pass the offering plate. We won't make you wear a visitor badge or stand up to be introduced. We want you to remain as anonymous as you want to, but we encourage you to fill out a visitor card and visit our church over several weeks to see what's going on at Discovery Church.
